At the Belaseshe special screening

12 July, 2015: Yesterday evening I attended a special screening of the Bengali film Belaseshe at the INOX Movies at Quest Mall.

The screening was organized jointly by the Bajoria Charitable Foundation and Prabha Khaitan Foundation and attended by the main star cast of the film including Soumitra Chattopadhyay and Rituparna Sengupta. 
Director Shiboprosad Mukhopadhyay was also present.

Belaseshe has been much appreciated by the audience and has completed 75 days on the screen and is still running. It was surprising that a large number of non-Bengali guests came to see the movie which is about family relations and enjoyed it thoroughly.

With Indrani and Utsav

There were only 71 seats available in the Gold Class and the requests poured in for attending the show was very high. We had to decline many others who were keen to come for the special screening. 

The INOX facilities at the Quest Mall are quite suitable for special screenings.

With Soumitra da

There was a small function at the end of the show in which Soumitra da and others were felicitated with flower bouquets.

I am planning to organize a bigger screening of the film for Pronam members with Kolkata Police. The venue and other logistics have to be worked out.
