`Aparajita Tumi'

Thursday, September 29, 2011: Yesterday I returned home around 3 am as there was shooting for Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s film Aparajita Tumi. Aniruddha or Toni, who is a personal friend of mine, won the best award for National Film a couple of years back. This film is his first directorial venture since then.

The whole movie has been shot in San Francisco, USA, and only a day's shooting was done in Kolkata yesterday because of Soumitra Chatterjee who couldn't go to the US.

I made a guest appearance as Sundeep Bhutoria in that film in a particular sequence with Soumitra Chatterjee. The movie is slated for release in January next year and yesterday it was last day of shoot.

The other main castes of the movie includes Prosenjit Chatterjee and famous actresses from South India Padma Priya and Kamalika.
