Lunch in honour of Latam diplomats and consuls

Friday, November 2, 2012: This afternoon I hosted a lunch at the Taj Chambers to meet and greet Ambassador of Republic of Peru, His Excellency Mr Javier Paulinich and his wife, Yaritza Paulinich, and Ambassador of the Republic of Chile, Mr Christian Barros and his wife.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Chile could not make it as his flight from Dacca to Kolkata was cancelled but his wife did attend.

Few of the Honorary Consuls like Mr Gopal Poddar of Peru, Mr Pradeep Khemka of Brazil, and Mr J K Saraf of Chile, along with some other Honorary Consul friends, joined.

I also invited Sanatan Dinda and his friend Panchali. 

After lunch I had a short meeting with them regarding an art project. 

Today evening I will go to see Agnidev Chatterjee’s new film Teen Kanya at Priya.
