Preparing for mega felicitation event

April 7, 2012: On Friday evening I went to the Sangeet Bangla party for cocktails and dinner to celebrate their 7th anniversary at Club 69 (Silver Spring Arcade).The theme of the party was `mafia attire'. I was in a hurry so I dropped in for 15 minutes just to say hello to Moni and Srikant of Venkatesh Films.

In the next seven or ten days, Harsh Neotia and I are jointly planning to organize an event to felicitate Soumitra Chatterjee, recipient of the prestigious Dadsaheb Phalke Award and National Award Winners - Anjan Dutt (Special Jury Award, Ranjana Aami Aar Ashbo Na), Rana Sarkar (Producer,Ranjana Aami Aar Ashbo Na, Best Bengali Film), Neel Dutta (Best Music Director, Ranjana Aami Ashbo Na), Mayook Bhaumik (Best Background Score, Laptop), Roopa Ganguly (Best Female Playback Singer, Abasheshey) and Indranil Ghosh (Best Production Design, Noukadubi).
