Ek Mulakat with Nandita Das

13 March, 2018: I attended an Ek Mulakat session with our Guest Nandita Das today evening.

Nandita Das, who is from Odisha, is an actress, director, activist and is famous for roles in films and also the controversies she has courted. She is currently doing a film Manto which is being talked about in many circles.

Suman Ghosh engaged her in a conversation which touched upon many aspects of her life. She shared many interesting stories and anecdotes from her life much to the liking of the audience at the Tollygunge Club.

Veteran actor Soumitra Chatterjee, who has known Nandita for quite some time, was present. He felicitated Nandita with an uttoriyo at the end of the event. 
I met Anandi Ghosh and some other friends who attended the session.

Ek Mulakat is organized by Prabha Khaitan Foundation in association with Tollygunge Club and Calcutta Times. 
The event invites a renowned personality to hold a free-wheeling session with a select group of invitees, sharing various aspects of one’s life from which others can draw inspiration. Ek Mulakat is also held in Udaipur, Jaipur and London.

I shall leave for Udaipur for two days to attend this year’s Ravishing Wedding event at the Radisson Blu, Udaipur.
