Kalam debut in Hyderabad

With Guest Speaker, Margaret Alva, at the debut of Kalam series in Hyderabad

April 19, 2017: I took a flight to Hyderabad to attend the launch of popular Kalam series in the city on Tuesday the 18th April. The first session of Kalam was held at The Taj Krishna with Margaret Alva as the Guest speaker.

It was good to meet my old friend K Mohanchandran, General Manager, Taj Krishna, and I thanked to him for initiating the Kalam series in Hyderabad Taj Krishna, located in the central Banjara Hills area, is an iconic hotel flaunting Nizami splendour.

Few years ago when he was posted in Kolkata Taj Bengal, we had, in association with Taj Bengal, started An Authors Afternoon series. It is great to start yet another chapter of Kalam series of events in association with Taj Krishna. It was nice to meet Mohanchandran’s wife Seema after a long time.

The first event went off well and we hope many more eventful series in the day to come. We expect to take the Kalam series to few more cities and soon have a pan-India reach. We have already started the series is London.
