Back in Jaipur

October 1, 2012: I arrived Jaipur this evening by the afternoon flight from Kolkata. I reached Kolkata airport rather early anticipating traffic snarls due to rallies and protests that were on. Whatever traffic chaos was there it was the other way round - from airport to the city.

Surprisingly, the traffic flowed smoothly. I spent some time at the airport restaurant which offers hardly anything that a restaurant should. The long-awaited new Kolkata airport is yet to be completed. Let’s see when it goes on stream.

Today evening I shall have dinner with the Periwals.
