Author's afternoon and MoU with WFUNA

Yesterday
turned out to be a very busy day. I had a meeting in the morning with
Bonian Gulmohammadi, Secretary General, World Federation of United
Nations Associations (WFUNA) and Laura - the WFUNA team from New York
- who were in city on my invitation.
At
4
pm
the
third
edition
of
Author's
Afternoon
was
there
at
The
Chambers,
Taj
Bengal.
This
time
the
guest
was
Sangeeta
Bahadur (picure).

Sangeeta
is
the
director
of
the
Nehru
Centre
in
London
and
she
made
her
literary
debut
with
her
book
Jaal
– which
is
the
first
part
of
a
planned
trilogy.
After
the
author's
afternoon
an
MoU
was
signed
between
Education
for
All
(EFA)
and
WFUNA.
Later
in
the
evening
I
hosted
a
dinner
for
the
diplomats
and
the
Honorary
Consuls
at
the
The
Taj
Bengal
Hotel
to
meet
and
greet
Kiran
Mehra
Kerpelman,
director,
United
Nations
Information
Centre
(UNIC)
for
India
and
Bhutan.
