`Anjali Gitan Ri' presentation in Jaipur

With Princess Diya Kumari and Governor of Rajasthan Smt Margaret Alva

Thursday, October 4, 2012: Yesterday evening was the function of handing over the first copy of the book Anjali Gitan Ri at the ITC Sheraton Rajputana from 5 pm to 6 pm where the first copy was presented to the Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan, Smt Margarat Alva.

Anjali Gitan Ri is a translation of Tagore's Gitanjali in Rajasthani language by eminent littérateur Ikraam Rajasthani. Present at the function were many eminent personalities from the field of art and literature.

Also present was Padmashree C P Deval and Princess Diya Kumari. The book was earlier released in Kolkata by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at the iconic Town Hall.

Before boarding for the Kolkata flight, I had meetings en route with the DNA team as well as the Dainik Bhaskar team to initiate a few events with them.
