Dinner party at The Taj Bengal

The party on October 5, 2012, hosted by me at The Taj Bengal was very well attended. 

It was actually a mix of guests from three events that took place on this day.

With Bonian, Laura and Kiran

Sangeeta Bahadur was in town as a guest for An Authors Afternoon, Bonian Golmohammadi, Secretary-General, World Federation of United Nations Associations(WFUNA), with Laura Spano (picture), Responsibility to Protect Program Officer, WFUNA, signed a MoU with Education For All and WFUNA in the presence of Kiran Mehra-Kerpelman, Director, United Nations Information Centre (UNIC – India & Bhutan).

With Japanese Consul General

They were all at the party and keeping the guests in mind I invited the city’s diplomatic corps and the Hon’ble Consuls, some industrialist friends for the sit-down dinner.

The Taj Bengal did an excellent job by serving a great dinner spread of international cuisine. 

The guests, in whose honor the party was hosted, were very happy meeting the prominent people of Kolkata from all walks of life.
