At Tanmoy's Wasabi

October 11, 2012: Yesterday night I arrived from Delhi and today evening I went to attend a private dinner hosted by a diplomat and his wife.

Before going to the dinner, I went to Ruby Hospital for the inauguration of Tanmoy Bose’s new restaurant Wasabi.

Wasabi promises to offer Japanese cuisine as its specialty and knowing Tanmoy and his profession, he added a twist in the cuisine - in his own words - “Food with Ragas”.

Anoushka Shankar was there to inaugurate the restaurant. The entire city’s classical fraternity was present there. I could not meet Anoushka as I had to leave early for the dinner but I did meet Rashid Khan and his family.
